Designed and built as a two-way access, the entrance door is kept shut at the request of the Double Bay Residents Association, which is headquartered at the Anderson Street and Court Road intersection.

Subsequently the Anderson Street traffic burden is shifted into Patterson Street and Kiaora Road, and these two streets are exceeding the RMS safety limit.

Parking is currently permitted on both sides of the road which leaves a restrictive travel lane of approximately 3.6 metres wide for any access.
